In 1954, our
founder had an ambition to manufacture quality storage systems and furniture for
the workplace at affordable prices for resale. Beginning with 3 employees,
operations began on the southeast side of Chicago, Illinois in a 500 sq. ft.
facility. Over the years, Edsal has enjoyed considerable market growth by
incorporating the latest in manufacturing technology, quality control and
factory automation in all levels of operations.
Today, we
have over 1,400 employees encompassing a 1,175,000 sq. ft. manufacturing and
warehousing facility. The Edsal name is synonymous with the most competitive
line of storage systems and workplace furniture in the industry which affords
the best opportunity for dealer/distributor profits.
Edsal
is the only manufacturer that offers
an ironclad non-direct selling policy on all
orders regardless of size. Our dealers know that they never have to worry
about the factory as a competitor. This policy applies even to the most
competitive requirements including, but not limited to governmental agencies.
Our selective distribution insures less competition, greater sales and higher
profit margins through well-trained dealers located in strategic marketing
territories. Furthermore, all orders or inquiries received by us from end users
will be sent to an authorized dealer or distributor.
